As the title suggests, the book revolves around the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita is basically a conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna or rather it is a conversation between a guru and a disciple. And in this Book, Nupur has presented an instant version of Gita. The title Insta Gita is not related to Instagram. Normally, Insta is used as the short form of Instagram but here Insta is used to denote the short form of Gita, not Instagram.
As soon as we learn to read or find reading interesting, we are recommended or advised to read Bhagavad Gita. Bhagavad Gita is given as a gift all over the world. Imagine, a book which was written centuries ago is still the bestseller. It is so important because there is a solution to every problem of life in it. People worship by using the verses and slokas of Bhagavad Gita. I remember my grandma used to read it and used to tell me the meaning of verses and slokas written in the Bhagavad Gita.
Insta Gita is a poetic transcreation of the Bhagavad Gita. In Insta Gita, Nupur describes the instances and verses of Gita in short, powerful and poetic manner. In every chapter, first, she explains the conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna in prose form then She gives that conversation a poetic touch. She has explained types of human nature beautifully. Along with that, other parts of Gita like Karma, Bhakti and Gyan are also beautifully explained. She has used graphics to make you understand better.
I am not a big fan of using or finding pictures in a book but Nupur has used them to good effect. I haven’t completed Bhagavad Gita yet (I have started it many times but left it in between) but I have read Insta Gita and it pushes me to start Bhagavad Gita again and this time I will read it till the end. If you have read the Bhagavad Gita then read Insta Gita to know how beautifully the author has converted verses of Gita into poems. Nupur is short in stature (height) and loves writing short stuff that packs a punch. And she packs the punch with Insta Gita. To grab the copy of Insta Gita click here.
