Sindhu Bhavan Road has become a dream for every restauranteur and Cafe owner but for foodies, it has become a heaven.
Being a foodie, every time I visit Sindhu Bhavan Road, I find a new Cafe or restaurant. This time we (me and my friends) were searching for a good coffee after dinner. We needed coffee not just as a drink but also as a mood-setter after dinner. The restaurant where we dined delayed the food beyond our limits, ultimately spoiling our mood. So we were searching for a good coffee outlet where we could get our mood back before going home.
What we experienced at Coffee By DiBella is mentioned below. I will explain it through different factors. So read on!
Ambience
It is a small outlet but they have packaged everything well in it. Right at the entrance, you will get to know about the theme and its origin. Coffee By DiBella is an Australian brand, they have outlets in major cities of India. In this outlet, they have organised everything well, especially the seating. They have made bar-like seating as well as round table seating. If you are going on a date and want privacy then you can sit in their private space. The private space has round table seating and it is perfect for even couple hangout.
The ordering counter is perfectly placed. They take orders, make coffee and serve cheesecakes from that space. Lastly, the aroma of coffee works as a drug and makes you sit there for hours.
Service
When we entered, a birthday party was on. Whole Cafe wasn’t booked for it but a bunch of friends were celebrating the birthday by cutting the cheesecake. So the bar-style seating was full. We saw an empty table in the corner opposite the ordering counter. And we sat there. After deciding what we wanted to have, we placed our order through a QR code at the table.
When we scanned the QR, we were redirected to a user-friendly website. The layout was simple and descriptive enough to imagine what we were ordering. Within 12-15 minutes of order placement, we were served. All the fuss, we had at the previous restaurant was calmed through their fast service.
What we ordered
Now let’s come on to what we ordered. So we ordered:
1. Cold Spanish Latte
2. Hot Spanish Latte
3. Snickers Milkshake
4. Gold Rush Freakshake
5. Biscoff Cheesecake
Taste
I will start with the cheesecake. Before this one, wherever I tasted cheesecake, I got the hard base. So my perception of the cheesecake was hard base and with a cheesy and flavourful layer on the top. Then I tasted this one and my perception was changed. While cutting the bite of it, my spoon didn’t face any difficulty. The base was so soft that the whole bite was cut in one flow and tasted like heaven. It was the best cheesecake I ever had.
Now if I talk about beverages, there are four different types of drinks. I chose the hot Spanish Latte. Again, it was something I never tasted before but I wasn’t disappointed. Being a coffee person, I was satisfied with what I had at Coffee By DiBella. I tasted the other 3 drinks as well and all of them tasted awesome. Gold Rush Freakshake was the costliest drink of the Cafe. I think it is designed to celebrate an achievement.
Rating
It is a well-packaged cafe, the menu is also according to the size of the Cafe. It is a perfect place to hang out or work. With the kind of taste and service they offer, it is one of the best cafes on Sindhu Bhavan Road. If I am looking for something beyond Starbucks then Coffee By DiBella is that coffee stop for me.
