Ideal Vacation

Trend of foreign trips is going on in the country. People might not have seen their own city completely but they definitely would have seen certain foreign cities. I haven’t visited any foreign city yet. Will this society accept me? I also aspire to see the whole world and I would like to start exploring the world with a trip to Dubai. At the moment, Dubai is the only city I can afford to visit and I would like to have next vacation in Dubai. I mean that would be my ideal vacation. Foreign vacations are like pyramid of needs. Basic or physiological needs are equal to vacationing in Asian cities or countries. While the self actualization needs are equal to vacationing European cities or countries.

Asian countries are equal to basic needs doesn’t mean that hospitality is poor there or they lack good infrastructure. Amenities, facilities and infrastructure is such in those countries that you won’t get it anywhere in the world. I classified the countries purely on the basis of affordability and value of rupee against other currencies of the world. Now, why Dubai? Dubai has one of the greatest human creations. Palm islands. No one ever thought that a man can create an island in the water. This artificial archipelago is still under construction but one of those palm islands is ready as of November 2014. So I would like to visit that island.

There is one more artificial archipelago in Dubai and the name of that archipelago is The world. It is a group of small islands constructed in the rough shape of a world map. It is 4 kilometers off coast of Dubai. There are 300 small islands in that archipelago. It is still under construction but I am pretty excited to see it. Apart from islands, Dubai is also famous for shopping. There are lot of malls like mall of emirates, the Dubai mall etc. The Dubai mall is awesome because of it’s size and under water space. It’s infrastructure is simply amazing. And if you don’t see burj khalifa and burj al arab on your trip to Dubai then back home no one will ask which places you visited in Dubai.

Then one day, I would like to visit Ferrari world in Abu Dhabi. Cars has always fascinated me and Ferrari is a dream car to many not only me. I want to see each and every car of Ferrari there and would like to drive one as well. I think four days would be enough for this trip. I was checking yatra.com few weeks back for ticket prices and routes. I figured and calculated all the routes. After doing that, I decided that first I will take a domestic flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai then book a round trip international flight from Mumbai to Dubai. And finally I will return to Ahmedabad from Mumbai via train. My whole plan is ready and it will be a perfect break. I am just waiting for the right timing for this vacation when all of my friends are free from their work and ready to travel.
