Corona Virus forced me to watch movies online rather than theatres. Thus, this month, I am watching movies on Netflix. And this what I feel about one of the movies on Netflix
As I finished watching 'MewTwo strikes back', I was recommended to watch 'Yeh Ballet' by #Netflix. My first impression was "Yeh kaunsi movie hai, itne weird title ke saath." I decided to watch it without giving a second thought but my plan was to watch it in parts.

I pressed the play button while having lunch. "Let me watch first 20 – 30 minutes now then I will watch another 30 minutes while having dinner and the remaining during lunch time tomorrow." This was my thought process before pressing the play button.

As I went on with the film forget leaving it in the middle, I didn't even think of pausing it for a moment. There were couple of factors which developed interest and pushed me to watch it in one go.

When the movie started, I saw logo of Roy Kapur Films, it was a surprise for me.
As I saw Roy Kapur Films, first thing came into my mind was The Sky is Pink. It built 30% of interest.

The star cast of the film didn't comprise of any big star but it was the story which developed remaining 70% interest.
Film revolves around a dance form called Ballet.
Film is inspired by a true story. It addresses the struggle of poor families in pursuing this dance form. To represent the struggle, the makers has shot the film in the slums of Mumbai. Thus it will remind you of Gully Boy. It will also push you towards the comparison.

Yes, you can say that this movie is a Gully Boy of dancing industry but it is very different from Gully Boy.

It depicts hardwork and passion. It shows the strength of bond between teacher & student irrespective of the language barrier. It teaches you to celebrate life.
And it pushes you to follow your dreams.
