This festive season most of us were hoping for awesome and unique Indian content and then the movie with the title of that game which has been the most played family game since lockdown released on Netflix.
How is it?
Read the review below:
When I saw the trailer of the film, I thought it will be a typical bollywood collage of four different stories.

Yes, I am talking about #Ludo. As many directors in Indian film industry has tried it before, I thought ludo will be same as them with nothing new in it.
Then I saw some posts recommending #LudoMovie on social media. Thus, I decided to watch it.

Movie starts with game of ludo between two people and while playing one of them mentions 'corona'.
If you are mentioning corona then actors should be maintaining distance…
And should be wearing masks but nothing like that is happening. So there was no need to mention corona in the film as everyone knows movies was shot before the pandemic.

After that scene, slowly the characters are unveiled and which team they belong to.
@juniorbachchan & Inayat are team red.#AdityaRoyKapur & @sanyamalhotra07 are team yellow.#RajkumarRao & #FatimaSanaShaikh are team green.#RohitSaraf & #PearleMaaney are team blue.
— Paresh Godhwani (@Par_God) November 18, 2020
These are the main characters of the respective teams. Each team has their own supporting cast.
#PankajTripathi as a don & #IshtiyakKhan as an inspector establishes the connection and bind all the stories together.
— Paresh Godhwani (@Par_God) November 18, 2020
And that makes this film completely different from other collages of bollywood.
Abhishek as well plays role of a Don but he wants to exit the world of crime…
And wants to pursue family life. He meets Inayat (who is a lonely child) and is left with no other choice than jump into chaos.
— Paresh Godhwani (@Par_God) November 18, 2020
Rajkumar Rao runs his own restaurant and is a huge Mithun Da fan. Fatima is his school time crush who is married to someone who is cheating on her…
And she uses Rajkumar's feelings whenever in need.

Aditya Roy Kapur is ventriloquist (and puppeteer) meets Sanya Malhotra (who is looking for a rich husband) through a matrimonial website and falls in love with her.
Rohit Saraf is a sales representative in a mall and…
fall in love with the nurse Pearle Maaney while running around with the bag full of money of Satu Don (Pankaj Tripathi).

I know there are lot of questions in your mind now.
How all these stories come together?, how they connect with each other?, how it ends? etc.
To get the answers of all the questions, watch the film.

Agar main hi sab bata dunga toh film dekhne maza kaise aayega.
All I can say is except that corona scene whole film is a gem. It is one of the best films of 2020.
Sab hai iss film mein.
Comedy hai, action hai, drama hai aur emotion bhi hai. Moreover all the songs of the movie are well placed.
— Paresh Godhwani (@Par_God) November 18, 2020
Combination of @ipritamofficial's music and #ArijitSingh's voice works really well in couple of songs.
As far as acting is concerned, whole cast has done a great job.
And above that, #AnuragBasu's direction!

It is the best release of this year's festive season.
Mera ek favourite scene hai jisme Rajkumar Rao dances in sadness while seeing off a car. Let me know if you notice that.#LudoOnNetflix #LudoReview
I have not seen this movie yet but heard a lot about this, thanks for sharing such a detailed tweetview !!
You are missing on some great cinema.
I seriously didn’t like the movie. I just left it half way didn’t get connected with story
I watched this movie just 2 days back. Your review is great however I did not enjoy the movie as much.
Yes, it’s the best release during this festive season. I like Rajkumar Rao appearing in a different manner.
For the first time I have seen a movie as soon as is released one of the best best movie ever produced on OTT platform
Oh we just watched it yesterday. It was quite annoying in the beginning but if you sit through it, it’s okay to watch and connect all the dots in the end.
Enjoyed your take-by-take review! I have not had a chance to see the film yet but hopefully I will soon!
Spoiler Alert: ooo beta ji, ooo bapuji, kismat ki hawa kabhi naram, kabhi garam.
We have seen the movie Ludo. Yes, it is different, but apart from the novelty of the concept, we did not find it really engaging.
We saw the moview last week and must say I love the Direction. There are some wonderful actors who have done exceptionally well in the moview. The concept is indeed quite unique.
Thanks for this awesome reminder! I have been wanting to watch this for a long time… now will surely watch
More than the movie I enjoyed reading your review. I watched it last week, I can say it was not bad at all but not extraordinary too but for a change, I liked Abhishek’s acting in this one. And, Rajkumar was fabulous as always.
I dont know why the movie was so hyped. I really dint liked the movie.
