I know I had reviewed few restaurants in the past but when I realised that people are not very keen about it, I stopped. One can’t keep me away from the food for a long time. Thus, I am starting it again in the new format. I hope you will like it this time.
I am starting it with the place I often visit. When I say, the place I often visit, it means that I like this place and there are reasons for that. I will mention those reasons in three main factors below. So read this till the end.
Ambience
Ambience is one of the most important factors of the restaurant. It pulls the crowd towards the place and Mocha has the most unique ambience in the whole city. You will find both indoor and outdoor seating at Mocha. Normally, restaurants go for either indoor or outdoor seating as it is a difficult task to maintain both. At Mocha, so far, owners have been successful in maintaining both indoor and outdoor ambience really well. You will be welcomed with great warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you are visiting Mocha with your family or with your girlfriend, the ambience will beat all of your expectations.
Service
As you enter the restaurant, you will be welcomed by their representative who will ask your preference, indoor or outdoor? Once you are seated, they will guide you with the menu and serve you the food as soon as possible. As the covid phase is going on, they have placed QR codes on each and every table. You need to scan the code, order the food from their menu online and pay the amount online. In this phase, the service is completely contactless but as quick as it was before. This shows that they know how to adapt according to the situation.
Food
The taste of the food at Mocha is such that it satisfies your taste buds immediately. I have visited Mocha so many times that by now, I have found best dishes out of the menu and order those every time. The menu at Mocha is different at different outlets in different cities. My favourite dishes at Mocha, Gandhinagar are American Mac N Cheese Pasta, 3 Cheese Margherita Pizza and Chilli Cheese Dragon Rolls. If you plan to visit Mocha, Gandhinagar any time, you must try these dishes. Apart from the taste of food, the presentation will also impress you and will pull you towards that place. It will create the desire of getting the food served in the manner they serve.
Rating
If you want to rate any restaurant then visit that restaurant either at the oddest hour of the week or the busiest hour of the week. Mocha, Gandhinagar will surprise you in both scenarios. If you visit this place during the busiest hour of the week and even if the food is late, you won’t complain. The atmosphere is such that you will love to spend more time at this place. On the contrary, if you pick the oddest hour of the week thinking you will hardly find people at Mocha, Gandhinagar then you should be prepared for a crowded surprise. Last time, I visited there at 3 pm on a working day and 50% of the tables were full.
Considering all the factors mentioned above, Mocha, Gandhinagar is a must-visit place for the people who want to spend some quality time with their loved ones. It is certainly one of my favourite restaurants and I would like to give a 5/5 rating to it.

How’s the coffee there?
Buddy, coffee is standard as you get in other cafe, nothing special because it blended in coffee making machine and they put the flavour as per your preference. The ambience adds to it. They do add special flavour in their winter menu but that is available for couple of months only.
This surely looks like a very inviting place to eat out. Maybe, if I reach Gandhinagar sometime post Covid, I would like to try the dragon rolls and pizza.
