This kind of destination is rarely found in any big city. In Ahmedabad as well, there are very few places like this. It is the kind of place where you want to enjoy the weather with a cup of coffee. Hold on, this is just a beginning. Read on, if you want to know more about Roasted Beans. If you went till the end, you will get a visual treat.
Ambience
It will give you a feel of dhaba as it is an open-air Cafe and is situated by the highway. The difference is the menu, here, you will get the fast food and different delicacies of the egg along with coffee in modern style (in paper cup) and tea in kulhad (clay cup). There are two types of seating arrangement. One, under the trees and two, under the sky.
Its location and seating arrangement make it anytime visit during winters. During summers, though it will provide a pleasant experience in the evening, afternoons will be the worst time to visit this place. I feel until the infrastructural projects take over the surroundings, this place (full of natural air) is a great one to hangout.
Service
There is a handicapped boy who has some kind of problem in his hand and he makes the coffee at the Cafe. I didn’t notice that during my first few visits. One day, I stopped by to take my takeaway order and saw how he makes the coffee. At that time, I noticed that. The reason I am telling you his story because he is the most hardworking and sweetest person you will meet at the Cafe. He makes the coffee, delivers it and makes sure you like it. He will ask you if the coffee was good and if you give a compliment then he will respond with a wide smile and a thank you. Once, I asked for the extra sugar as I prefer sweet coffee and he got worried and asked “(coffee) jyada strong ho gayi kya?” It impressed me. The stories would have given you fair bit of idea about the service at Roasted Beans.
Food
When it comes to food at this place, I would say it is kind of good (not mind-blowing) but the atmosphere around adds more taste to it. I am in process of turning vegan so I have stopped eating eggs. Thus I am only reviewing the food of Roasted Beans and not The egg bar. The egg bar can be a great option for many (along with the coffee). Coming back to the Roasted Beans menu, you will coffee, shakes, different types of Maggi, fries and bread delicacies on it. Maggi is very average and fries are as good as any frozen one. Delicacies made from bread make the menu bearable.
Top 3 dishes of Roasted Beans
- Tandoori paneer sandwich
- Cheese chilly toast
- Cheesy garlic bread
Must try hot beverages
- Cafe Mocha
- Cappuccino Mint
- Hot Chocolate
Rating
This place gives you the feeling of a dhaba and the value of street food. Atmosphere at this place adds to every factor that adds value to your outing. There is one factor at Roasted Beans which will make you a passive smoker. As this place is the triumvirate of Roasted Beans, Smokers Land and The Egg Bar, the seating arrangement on the deck is open for smokers as well. Smokers do smoke on the deck and that will make you a passive smoker. Though air takes most of the toxic smoke away, it still affects you and you will feel it. When you find one factor which affects you, other factors expose themselves. I think owners should come together to make necessary changes. This place is just one smoking step away from being a 5/5. For now, it is a 3.5/5 place.
Place looks really good to eat Food. Will visit there if I get a chance to go there.

Roasted Beans sounds like a great place to chill in. The Paneer Tandoori Sandwich lools really great.
Being in Ahmedabad ,I haven’t heard about this place so far . The place looks awesome to hang out .
This is new place, it is opened last year around Diwali I guess.
The first thing that made me happy is that the cafe has given a chance to a differently abled individual for making coffee. Second the whole concept sounds very out of the box. I often visit Ahmedabad, will not miss the cafe next time.
You must visit this place.
the ambience and that chilli cheese toast looks really inviting! Id love to visit, and passive smoke doesnt bother me, so as long as the weather and company is good and the food awesome, im happy ๐
Then this is the place for you.
