5 Simple Health Tips to Survive Covid Strain

This year we are in the same situation as last year. The scenario is worst compared to last year. Last year, small cities and villages were not affected but this year, they are highly affected and were totally unprepared for the second wave. Though they have healthier habits compared to people living in cities but in this emergency, they are rushing towards the cities for better treatment. We can’t afford a lockdown because a lot of people will have nothing to eat if government imposed the lockdown. Thus, we need to try to survive this strain with compassion and empathy. And to survive the second wave, I am sharing few health tips which you can follow easily.

Family and Friends

The most important health tip is, stay with your family and talk to your friends regularly. People who make you happy should be around you. If you are happy then your chances of falling ill goes down to minimum. The mental strength your family and friends give you is enough to fight any hardship in life. So keep your family and Friends closer to maintain higher immunity levels. Apart from that, you will be at peace when you keep family and friends closer.

Sunbath

Vitamin D is very important to keep the immunity levels high. And the simplest, richest and most natural source of Vitamin D is sunlight. So I would recommend going for a sunbath as soon as the sun rises. Sunrise is the coolest hour of the day in summer. In this way, you will enjoy the sunbath and you will get vitamin D as well. When the advent of mobile phones was less, we used to play under the sun irrespective of the season. It’s time to go back in that time.

Mental Strength

This is the most important aspect to fight covid. If you will watch or read the covid related stuff whole day then you will think something is happening to you. And that something in your mind will be replaced by covid. When you reach that stage then you will definitely catch it from some or the other place. It’s important to keep yourself updated so only get updates. Don’t think 24/7 about it. Express yourself in front of your family and friends. They will give you mental peace.

Exercise and Sleep

Otherwise, also, it is very important to have an exercise routine. It keeps your body fit all the time. If you have a routine then maintain it. If you don’t then create one. Start with the simplest of exercises, walking. Walking is a proven stress buster. It doesn’t mean you go out for a walk. Go to terrace and walk. You can walk and take a sunbath at the same time. Along with exercise, it is important to get proper sleep at night. You should get six to eight hour sleep at night. If you exercise daily and get proper sleep then you are giving rise to your immunity.

Nutrients

Along with Vitamin D, you have to take care of other nutrients as well. Like Vitamin C, protein, zinc, etc. In these factors as well, I will suggest you give first preference to natural resources. Eat oranges and kiwis, drink lime water for Vitamin C. Eat green veggies, pulses and cottage cheese for protein and zinc. If you can’t do this then there are tablets of multivitamins and zinc in the market, buy them and make sure you have them at regular intervals. These nutrients help in developing antibodies.
