This is for those who commit suicide just for not getting admission into top notch universities of the world. It is an eye-opener for every student who believes that they are not good enough because they are not studying in their desired university. To get the idea about what I am trying to say, read on.
I didn't even think of trying in any specialized management institutes like SITM or SIBM or any of the similar colleges via XAT. I might have ended up being in one of those if not top MBA institutions and would have flaunted their hoodies on social media.

But I thought if I am not able to get into the top institutes then maybe I am not good enough. I had idea about management quota seats and all but that was never an option for me.

I am sharing these things because I was reminded of it by a Netflix Film Operation Varsity Blues.
It is a documentary exposing the college admission scandal.

It shows how the sons and daughters of celebrities and rich businessmen get the side door entry in top notch colleges of the world.
Management quota or through donations is the back door entry. It is very common thing.
But side door entry is or was a totally new concept.

What is side door entry?
Watch the documentary for that. It is a really well made documentary which will tell you about the corruption in world's topmost institutions. It shows how they bow down in front of the money.
After watching it, I feel bad for those who commit suicide just for not making into those universities.
— Paresh Godhwani (@Par_God) May 22, 2021
Now, I have no respect for those big names. Everyone dying to get in there should pursue the education from the university which they get on their merit.
I feel happy that I did MBA from a local university and didn't pay millions to those institutions.

Yes, I agree that the opportunities I got were limited and of lower category but the moment I passed out, I entered in the open world.
If I am capable or destined to make it big then I will definitely make it. I won't need those tags of big universities who bow down in front of money.

I would like to thank @netflix for bringing such scandals in front of us in form of documentaries.#VarsityBlues #NetflixFilm
It looks like a good stuff to watch. I will like to watch it too soon.
Opration varsity is one movie that should.have come a decade back. The competition pressure, has brought many talented kids down.
Agree!
Competition is good but an overdose of anything is bad. It’s really good to know about this movie. I am going to see it now.
Watch…watch
The Varsity Blues documentary seems to be a real eye-opener, the makers have shown great courage in exposing the under-belly of the system.
Yes, makers have done a great job but the culprits were arrested before it was released.
Looks a great watch!! It happens with many students and most can relate with it.
Yes everyone can relate with it.
I have not heard of this documentary. It sounds like a good watch. Will surely watch with my husband.
This seems a must watch… Coincidentally I was searching what to watch just a few minutes back and i read this review… I m starting to watch this now
