My first Hindi Netflix Film is Dharma Productions’ first film on Netflix. Read what I feel about the film.
First hindi @NetflixFilm I saw is Drive. I was eagerly waiting for 1st November because of #DriveNetflix. There were two reasons for this excitement for Drive. One, with Drive @netflix was about to get @Dharmatic_. Two, Tarun Mansukhani was making a comeback as a director.

Songs not the trailer of Drive will pushed me to watch the film. Songs are really catchy, one would like to hear it again & again. While the trailer will give you glimpses of Dhoom & hint of desperate attempt to make Fast & Furious. I sat to watch the movie with such perception.

Movie started with the entry of @Asli_Jacqueline and the corrupt minister's strategy. The entry was pretty old school. Girl coming out of the car in a short dress and her hair flying. This entry would have been best entry in early 2000s not in 2019.

The strategy brings Pankaj Tripathi & @bomanirani into the picture. Entry of @itsSSR was worst. He drifted a car in front of Jacqueline and that drift was animated. Effects were so bad that the car didn't look real at all. It was like Jacqueline is watching animated car drift.

As the story moved on, I didn't find anything exciting or thrilling. While they were plotting to steal Rs. 890 crores from Rashtrapati Bhavan, I had predicted the twist. And it happened exactly as I predicted. Yes, the story is predictable & there is nothing new in the movie.

In the climax, the plot almost outplayed my prediction but it ended the way I was thinking. Only scene which made me feel good was the one in which cars are flying from a flyover and a man below them is shouting, "abbe udke jayega kya?" It is shown in the trailer as well.

There is one flight scene in the movie which makes you feel like that it is a desperate effort of making Indian Fast and Furious. Unfortunately, that flight scenes don't give any thrills or excitement. The songs are enjoyable and are perfectly placed except the first one.

I am glad that it was released on Netflix and not in theatres otherwise I would have ended up wasting my money. I expected much more from a film which was directed by Tarun Mansukhani. I have moved on and looking forward to other @Dharmatic_ content.

Good that it’s entertaining one .
And yes it’s better that it’s released on Netflix than theaters.
I have saved in my list too to watch this movie. I am excited to watch this movie this weekend.
The trailer of Drive has been catching my attention on Netflix for the past few days and I have been contemplating whether to see it or not. Your reviews have surely helped me make up my mind on this.
The trailer of this film was so lackluster that I didn’t feel like watching this film at all. Your review is honest and that’s how it should be. This one was a pathetic copy of a Hollywood heist film I felt.
Thank you for the honest review. I will avoid watching this movie as it seems like a waste of my time.
Sounds and exciting watch, as such I see myself binge watching Netflix always. And the way you narrated in the form of tweets, that’s cool:)
Last netflix movie I have watched was Chopstick . I hardly watch movies. But Definitely going to watch this one ๐
I am a big Fast and Furious fan and Drive was something I was thinking of watching. Will rethink that now!
Like the way, you have shared the info. I don’t watch Netflix but this one sounds like a good watch.
Its high time Bollywood should evolve with their story and creativity.the only good thing which was spoiled was pankaj, a brilliant performer.
I was not impressed at all either..there wasn’t anything new or exciting in this movie. Yes i thought of fast and furious for once when i saw the trailer and yeah Dhoom too.
I personally didnt like this movie… The plot was amazing and with the finest cast it could have been much better.. i felt execution was not as perfect as plot n cast
Netflix has some exciting webseries to vouch for. The drive plot doesn’t sounds much intriguing from your review.
I think that I am exceptional as I am not addicted to Netflix but I heard a lot about it and soon will take a subscription to watch the movies and series.
I really like your mini reviews weaved as tweets buddy, will like to watch this movie for sure
Thank you for such an honest review… I don’t really find such movies interesting… May watch it when I am bored, someday…
I didn’t like Drive as it isn’t too interesting to watch. The story of the movie was stretched unnecessarily which made it more boring.
Initially even I thought that it would be great thriller and action movie but alas, it turned out to be such a disappointment.
