After a long time, I watched a suspense thriller or a film without checking the makers. This is what lockdown has done to me. I am watching anything and everything. Check how it turned out to be.
Honestly, if there was no coronavirus and Sooryavanshi and This is 83 had released as per schedule then I would have skipped @NetflixFilm Mrs. Serial Killer.

The reality is that we are locked down and are constantly looking for Indian content which we can watch with family.
Decision of watching this film was a risk considering Jacqueline’s previous release on Netflix (Drive).

Even the trailer focused more on Jacqueline than Manoj Bajpai and Mohit Raina. Manoj Bajpai played the biggest role in making the decision of watching this film.
I tapped the play button when we (me & my family) sat down for a lunch. I thought of switching to a good old bollywood film in 15 minutes if it turned out to be a disaster.

Instead it turned out to be a good one. Screenplay was so gripping that we didn’t move from our place…
even after finishing the lunch.

The story held us till the connection was lost due to low bandwidth. I connected the TV with the mobile network and finished the film.
It is a suspense thriller and the killer is not predictable at all. Suspense is maintained till the climax.
After a long time, I enjoyed a good quality suspense thriller with my family.

As far as acting is concerned then Manoj Bajpai steals the show. His acting maintains the suspense in the film. Mohit Raina is also good, he is not as impactful as Bajpai but he portrays his role well.
Jacqueline’s acting disappoints at various stages of the film. Zayn Khan is impressive in her debut but she also spoils one of the scenes.

All the flaws in acting are covered up really well by a gripping storyline. Sirish Kunder has done a great job as a director.
It would have been a 5/5 film if the weak acting in some scenes was taken care of.

Overall, it is a good film which you can watch with your family. In my eyes, after a long time, a quality suspense thriller is out. Thus, it should not be missed.#MrsSerialKiller @TheFarahKhan
Saw this one last week. The primary draw was, of course, Manoj Bajpai. But it was a real disappointment and so predictable.
I saw it last week. I was totally disappointed by the story. Was expecting it to be good.
Thanks for sharing your Tweetview. After reading yours n other comments would skip watching it:)
It’s a really engaging movie with a thrilling plot where you can never guess what’ll happen next. Great job by director Shirish Kunder. Manoj Bajpayee was brilliant. Great thoughts.
Finally, someone agrees with me.
These days we actually watch anything due to lockdown but good to know your views on the thriller. I can skip it now.
Oh wow, i love a good thriller. Going to watch this today itself hehhe.

Im glad i read your review otherwise i might have skipped it. Now im totally going to watch this.
You have commented on the good aspects of this film. But i have heard real bad reviews too. I am dubious if to watch or no.
I watched it and it’s strictly a one time watch that also because of Manoj Bajpai! Jacklyn always has limitations when it comes to acting. Predictable story too…
I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this movie as I couldn’t watch her Drive with Sushant. However, your review has made me re-think and watch it with hubby 🙂 It’s been ages, I haven’t seen Manoj Bajpai movies.
Oh with all the negative reviews about this film and Jackys performance I had dropped the idea of watching it. but after reading your review I am gonna see it.
Mrs serial killer sounds like a binge watch this weekend. And who doesn’t love watching Manoj bajpai acting
