We are going through a very tough phase of life. No one knows when we will get back to normalcy. Till the time we are in this phase, its important that we stay positive and enjoy it.
Finally, we have got into a phase where someone has pressed a pause button in the middle of a rat race and has given us a chance explore ourselves.
This is a great time to try a hand on the things which you were pushing by saying “jab time milega tab karunga/karungi,” woh time aa gaya hai. If your schedule in this lockdown is Eat, Watch NEWS, Sleep, Repeat then you will end up getting a mental illness.
I am sharing my experiences or the stuff I am doing in lockdown. If you haven’t done anything then this is a great to do list. If you have tried few things and are out of ideas now then this will give you some ideas and inspiration to do some interesting stuff.
Day 1: Went out of society gate to check whether 21 day lockdown is being followed or not because it is India. Actually I was surprised to emptiness on the roads except passing of odd vehicle. (This activity is not to be followed)
Day 2: I started making making a schedule and terrace became a new living room.

Day 3: Started lending my hand in the chores (like sweeping). After all, ladies don’t own the copyright of household chores. If you still think it is the job of girls or ladies and not yours then chullu bar pani mein doob maro.

Day 14: Ludo is something which most of the people would have tried during lockdown. Some (specially kids) are playing on the board, while some are playing online. It is not just the game, it is a way to bond with your family. You won’t get better time than lockdown to sit down and play games with your family. I was so lost in it that I lost the day count as well (in the tweet below).

Come on, make the most of your freedom. #Lockdown3
There are lots of activities going on in this phase. Government, doctors, nurses, police, cleaners, security guards and municipal corporations are doing their job of protecting us. We should also perform our duties by staying at home and helping needy ones. If you didn’t do anything productive and helpful in this period then your life is waste.
Omg you are keeping track of work done doe each day and making video record too. Lockdown ke baad dekhne mai aur maza ayega..creative
Thank you.
You are keeping yourself quite busy during the lockdown. Indeed the lockdown is a time to do those tasks and projects that were being pushed for the paucity of time.
Exactly.
This is a superb diary buddy and yes I am in Vadodara and the scenes are undoubtedly so similar my dear
Oh, you are in Vadodara. Welcome to the satisfied state of India. People won’t be following lockdown much but you will find contentment among the people.
Lockdown has given all of us an opportunity to live life slowly and appreciate it too. Lovely diary you have maintained.
thank you.
That’s quiet a lot of activities. I agree in the current lockdown the few things that are common across all people is connect tong with friends and dalgona coffee!!
Dalgona coffee was one heck of a task.
Loved reading about your lockdown routine most of us who have trouble finding what to do are going to find help in this post.
that’s purpose of writing this post.
You have kept yourself pretty well occupied… I started cooking initially and started learning ASL and Korean… But after a few days I lost all interest and started losing my mind… 😂
Just hold on to your activities, there is whole lot of stuff to loose mind on.
Glad to read about your lockdown routine . I started cooking during this lockdown. Great diary!
Absolutely agree with you, we should use this time to do something that we couldn’t do all these years while we were running behind something or other.
HaHa.. You have maintained a good diary .. I am here in Ahmedabad and the situation is pretty similar here too.
The life on the other side of the river is better I feel, people are getting the delivery slots easily. What about you?
The current life in lockdown has become static, there are up and low during this period . Yes good time to spend time with family and create beautiful memories
You technically everything in this lockdown. That’s fantastic. Yes it is actually surprising that people did follow the lockdown religiously.
people are not following lockdown religiously but police is forcing them to do so.
My thinking is alike you that we should not wake up, eat, sleep n watch tv or movie. Though first week I wasn’t productive but after that I set a schedule and I am following that till now.
You have kept yourself busy in lockdown. That’s really cool. It’s good to know that you are doing household chores as well. Keep it up and spread more positivity 💪.
Yes, i will d that. Thank you.
It was perfect the first time. I learn so much from you as well! Keep it up great post.
Thank you buddy, I am glad you liked it.
